STATEMENT

LOOKING FOR THESE? is a dark comedic tale on the how life always teaches you a lesson when you least expect it. For my directorial debut I wanted to make a film where Latina women turn the tables on the sexist male of the story without taking their clothes off for a change. I hope that women will enjoy and be able to relate to my characters even though they’re vampires.

MAIN LOCATIONS: VAMPIRE LAIR

My associate producer Paul Fearon was gracious enough to give us permission to film in his Mott Haven loft for the duration of principal photography. We shot inside, outside, in that long hallway, the fire escape. The loft had cement floors & over head pipes that we hung the lights on. After a while we started calling his place Paul Fearon Studios. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is the location served the story perfectly and anyone else would have said… HELL NO!

My other associate producer Carlos Padilla came through with a very important one day location and in the process also made LOOKING FOR THESE? possible.

Thank you, gentlemen. Its good to know people like you still exist.
